Fridays Are For One Question

You may or may not be aware that new words are added to the official and defined English language every hear. Merriam-Webster has just released this year’s list which includes:

  1. aha moment
  2. bucket list
  3. cloud computing
  4. copernicium
  5. earworm
  6. energy drink
  7. f-bomb
  8. game changer
  9. gassed
  10. gastropub
  11. man cave
  12. mash-up
  13. sexting
  14. systemic risk
  15. underwater
Some interesting choices. I’m personally not sure “man cave” needs its own spot in the dictionary. Maybe you’ve got one to add to the list. So for for today’s question:
“What expression do you think should be included in the dictionary next year?”

I like that “gassed” can mean drunk or exhausted. I see confusion getting ready to strike. I think “serenity now” would be a fun addition.

chillax: combination of “chill” and “relax” … what ministers need to do on their day off.
